Wave Face / Wall; the steep, smooth side of the wave.

(Frontside) Surf stance/ride direction where the surfer faces the wave (i.e. the wave is on the surfer’s front side) when riding.
Opposite of frontside: the surfer’s back is toward the wave face when riding.
Wipe out (loanword); falling off the board / being wiped out by the wave (losing balance or control).
describes waves that are “good” (波形明顯, easy to read / obvious shape). If the waves are “明,” they are clean, well-shaped, surfable.
